Come try this two hour Action Theater Intro Class and experience the fun and power of physical theater improvisation. Through voice, movement and language you will explore what it is like to be fully alive in the moment, creating images and stories on the spot. Tap into your creativity, push your expressive range and learn to respond to whatever comes your way with sensitivity and abandon.
Each week the class has a different focus and will introduce you to some of the fundamentals skills of physical theater improvisation. Every class will include a physical warm up, individual and group exercises, partner work and informal performance scores. This drop-in Class is a great option if you want to try Action Theater but aren’t ready to jump into a longer series yet.
All classes are taught by veteran teacher and performer Owen Walker.
